When your external HDD fails
External drives are the backup people trust most and protect least. They get knocked off desks, unplugged mid-write and carried in bags. Many brands also add a hardware encryption bridge, so plugging the bare drive into another computer shows nothing but noise.
Personal recovery for the files you can't replace: family photos, school work, personal records and the projects you've spent years on.
Do this first: stop using the device, don't run repair or recovery software, and don't open it. Then start a free evaluation or chat with us.

What you get for home users

- Your files returned on a new encrypted drive
- Free return shipping on completed recoveries
- Real people on chat and phone, 24/7
Our process
- Free evaluationShip it, drop it off, or request courier pickup. We log the device into chain of custody on arrival.
- Diagnosis & fixed quoteEngineers find the exact fault and send a fixed quote. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
- Bridge-board handlingWe keep the original enclosure board so hardware encryption can be reversed correctly before imaging.
- Recovery & verificationWe image the media, rebuild the data and send a file list so you can confirm what matters is there.
- Secure returnYour data returns on a new encrypted drive or secure download. Working copies are destroyed after you confirm.
